So Manny is allowed to have demands but Floyd isnt?

Manny demanded a 50/50 split, Floyd agreed.

Manny demanded a $10 Million penalty for each pound over 147, Floyd agreed.

Floyd made one demand that BOTH fighters do OSDT, Manny refused.

Both fighters ended up making millions more than they were initially projected but why would a guy risk that very drug tests if you have nothing to hide?...

Manny never looked the same after his run of DLH to Margs including Cotto, Mosley, and Hatton. In those fights Manny was throwing upward of 1,000 punches and hurting his larger opposition despite struggling against LW Morales and Marquez just a couple years prior.

The dude cheated and it's not hard to see
Nonsense the steroid allegation started before they started to talk. Mayweather refused to believe Pac was legit.

they did not sue Mayweather for money

the day Arum realized that Mayweather would never relinquish his testing demands... he realized that Pacquiao would need to be clean for that fight

at that point, Arum totally lost interest in that fight

the lawsuit, was a gag order... to shut Mayweather up, and ensure that the legal action would prevent any further fight negotiation

Malignaggi said MUCH worse than Mayweather, and so did Atlas...

... but Arum did not need to ensure that there would be no negotiations with Malignaggi and Atlas in Pacquiao's immediate future... like he needed to ensure that there would be no negotiations with Mayweather in Pacquiao's immediate future

While the sum wasn't going to break Mays bank, he did have to pay 115k, Pac's legal fees (or maybe they dropped that as well ?).

I'm sure Pac was seeking cash though. If shutting May up was his goal, all he had to do was roll up his sleeves

              • Ok

                On with the show

Pac made a splash at the WW scene vs beyond shot DLH. Not only was he beyond shot, but weight drained to the hilt. Yeah, I know, Pac was still a Fly ! Beating all of these asses while weighing half as much as his bigger opponents. I was only fair to demand DLH to fight Pac where he did. And it was close to a decade since DLH weighed so little. Moving uip is always easier than moving down. Especially if so much time has passed. DLH could not say no to the retirement $$$$.

It was a rare WW stoppage win for Pac (DLH quit on his stool). Pac fans consider this a quality win.

                • After stretching out Hatton in between flossings, Pac returns to ''WW'' to make yet another splash....Would have been a different fight had there been no clause. Like DLH, Cotto simply could not turn down the payday. Cotto was the champ and yet had to play by Pac's rules. Cotto agreed.

Like any marginally intelligent person would have done.

Pac fans say a couple of lbs shouldn't have mattered....well, he made sure we would never know. Insisted on a similar clause for a rematch

                  • (I will get to the whole May vs Pac debacle later)

Pac takes Cotto's title and goes on to fight Clottey....shocker, Clottey doesn't win a round. Pound for pound, Pac has faced more ''questionable'' opponents than most guys who are considered great.

BTW, Pac didn't put a clause on Clottey.

                    • So far, there really isn't much to be impressed over.

Big fuc king deal he started out as a pipsqueak. He just happen to have been the best pipsqueak out of the other pips around at the time. He became ''a thing'' and had his road carefully paved. Even to this day.
