Fun fact about Tyson is he was never out jabbed in his career by jabbers besides Douglas and Lewis . Those guys had movement with 84 inch reaches Both stood over 6”3 . A smaller Roy isn’t going to have that distance.

Roy has to survive the first three rounds. After that, I don't think Tyson will have the stamina to pursue a sustained threat. I like Tyson's odds on this one. Roy's reflexes are shot, and he never really made the needed adjustments to compensate for that.

I agree. I don't think they're looking to murder each other but both are competitive. Mike's ferocious nature might just come out of him once he's hit. I'm not sure Jones can take any clean shots these days without going down. It'll be a matter of avoiding any kind of shot from Mike regardless if there is a lot of power behind them or not, and just hitting and moving.

I highly doubt Roy got enough in him to truly hurt or drop Mike, even if they were both in their primes and the heavyweight Roy fought Mike.

AGREED. And remember when Roy fought Ruiz, he couldn’t drop him or seriously hurt him to the degree of actually stopping him. That fight went 12 rounds. And people forget Tyson had a good chin and took some hellacious shots from Douglas, Holyfield, and Lennox for quite a few rounds even before they stopped him. Mike even took some great shots from Berbick, Bruno, and Ruddock. Roy at HW, doesn’t have HW punching power. And I love Roy, but he had great MW & LHW power. Don’t see him slowing down Tyson or getting his respect. If Tyson’s muscle memory kicks in to destroy and he forgets its an exhibition, I fear for Roy’s overall well being.
