I mean it was called by the IBF. Sure, they got a deal done before a purse bid and there didn't seem to be any trouble in negotiations. So in that regard it is a good sign. Now let's see if there are any other fights they make together the rest of the year minus Fury vs Wilder III.

Very solid fight. Abdukakharov should win this.

The bout will be contested for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) interim welterweight title at stake, with the winner will be first in line for a mandatory shot at unified welterweight titlist Errol Spence Jr.

For all of the boxing politics in the sport, putting together a fight between boxers representing Premier Boxing Champions (Lipinets) and Top Rank (Abdukakhorov) proved far easier than actually securing a date for the occasion.
This fight for the IBF 'Interim' 147 title between PBC and Toprank contenders has a significant impact on the welterweight division. Errol Spence, is going to have to fight a Toprank champion, one way or another and 'Cross the street'.

          Patience always paid off.

I give a chance to Kudratillo Abdukakharov to win against Sergey Lipinets, but still I cannot underestimate him. This fight sound is going to be entertaining. I hope Subriel Matias shake that bad experience of Maxim Dadashev (Rest In Peace) and demonstrate he want to become a champion, still don't ups my expectation.
