  • Ready for a slight step up! Need to get rounds in, I don't want another Anthony Yarde situation in which he is just blowing guys away but not really getting a chance to get rounds in and test his stamina until he is in the biggest fight of his career

I'm sure Arum will get him jumped up by the WBO and he will be a contender for that 168 WBO Strap real soon

        • They should up his competition soon though. Having it so easy might make him complacent and set him up for a later disaster. He needs opposition who can make him think. He needs to struggle some to improve.

Valero had quite a few in a row I remember.

Suppose I could look it up.

EDIT: THE LEGENDARY ALI RAYMI HAD 20.

I think he fought the same guy from the neighboring village like 8 times though.

I think you’re right it was Valero.

              • Valdez has a shaky chin and Velez took shots from a greener Ryan Garcia let’s see if he can take Valdez shots.

I was actually thinking of the competition going forward. He's too slow, stiff, and open. Didn't see much of a defense either. That might work for him for now.
