Is Tim Bradley the new Teddy Atlas?

As anyone discussed this, or thought about this???

Listening to Tim Bradley commentate, kind of reminds me of Teddy. I mean, he’s not nearly as refined as Teddy. Tim needs to developers some crazy analogies, but I kind of see some Teddy in him.

I mean, Teddy did train him so it kinda makes sense, but the way he gets emotional during broadcasts and has some back and forth with Ward, idk. Like I just heard Tim go on a rant about how he doesn’t like how Valdez is fighting, and it kind of reminded me of classic Teddy Atlas. Tim just needs to say something a little bit more outrageous and he’ll be Teddy.

Nah. Teddy was genuine and authentic in his excitements and outrage. Bradley sounds like a big TR shill and a fake.

Nah idk. That huge beating that he took against Provodnakov, he could have some screws loose from it still. Maybe it is genuine. I feel like most former boxers tend to say more outrageous things than most former athletes. Effects from being a warrior.

I enjoy 'Fireman' mode Timmy, but one of these days Dre is going to erupt like a volcano on Bradley. Joe Tessitore will be calling the action from the parking-lot.

He isn't as bad as atlas but he is bad. Atlas never shutup. Atlas would run his mouth every second of every round. Bradley doesn't talk as much as Atlas did. He does have the annoying Atlas type habit of constantly saying what the boxers are doing wrong and what they should do. He can never just enjoy a good fight without all the negative comments just like atlas never could. He talks too much about going to the body as if you can KO anyone if you go to the body. He has some weird expressions like Atlas but not as many as Atlas. Ward doesn't copy Atlas like Bradley but he also constantly talks about what the boxers are doing wrong and what they should do. Both Ward and Bradley are retired champs who had their glory. They should not talk as if the are so much better and smarter than the boxers who are fighting right now. They both hurt my enjoyment of the fight and i wish they were not there. One thing they do that i really hate is to have the camera leave the fight that is going on to show what happened in the last round. They should do the between rounds not during the fight. I score fights and I want to see every second of every round to score the round correctly.

I really enjoy Bradley. I think it's great that he isn't just along for the ride and he has his own opinions and is willing to defend them. When he was with Teddy I thought he bit his tongue a few times and held back.

I miss Max Kellerman when these fools are talking, he's got a good balance between being a boxing fan and analyzing a fight. Teddy and Max would be a great team..Kriegel should be fired btw. How could Teddy be removed from the live action and a clueless fool like Kriegel can talk all he wants from the paper he is holding.

Kriegel doesn’t add anything to the game either I agree. He just does news stories and voice over narrations! LOL. Like a robot!
