Impressive, but it's clear that they need to start stepping up his opposition big time. That could prove tricky though, if he keeps blowing guys up like this the good opponents might not want to fight him.

In the video of the KO, the guy was covering up and Berlanga pulls the guy's left down with his left, then hits him with 2 right hooks for the KO.

The problem for Berlanga is he is making a big mistake and needs to force himself to get some rounds in by taking some power off his punches and build stamina. Getting early KO's can backfire when he gets a guy with a solid chin or defense or both and then often is the case, a fighter drags him into deep waters and drowns him. History is littered with this. Marco Antonio Rubio was a good example of that when he wiped off the zero at the end of David Lemieux's record and his power-punching feast.

Kid looks impressive and definitely has power I don't understand why people are complaining though Moon wasn't a terrible choice for his level at the moment he just wiped him out. The KO's sell especially right now and who else do you want him to fight during the pandemic these fighters are getting recycled we are barely going to start getting quality fights this fall.

I agree he needs better competition and I'm sure it will come Top Rank knows how to build fighters nobody can say otherwise, but they put the kid on SportsCenter immediately after the main card as a highlight so things like that are going to get his name out there and help him build. People mentioned Gavril and Dirrell I think it's still way to early for those fights he needs to get a little more seasoning first I think a good next opponent would be Denis Douglin, Steve Nelson, Bilal Akkawy or someone along those lines first maybe Giovani De Carolis.

I would like to see if he can stop vaughn Alexander. Perfect fighter to go rounds with. Also offensively somewhat capable but not dangerous enough to risk an upset.

Chudinov, fielding, ryan ford would also be a decent measure stick.

If he wants a no risk name they should pay alfredo angulo to get a beat down. Lol

Edgar Berlanga first round KO. Coqui!

Definitely, Edgar Berlanga have raw talent that need to convert in talent. Yes, I like first round KO and Edgar know he wanted rounds, but he need to practice other things with this type of opponents he KO. I like Edgar Berlanga, but he need a few durable or never stopped journeyman like 168 lbs version of Kevin Johnson to see his other dimension, skill set and stamina.
