I root anyone regardless of their skin color. I only dislike a fighter when talks a lot of BS on why a fight is not happening, like Tank Davis.
Does race or nationality stop you from liking or giving a boxer their credit?

Sure as an African American When Fury and Wilder fought I was rooting for Wilder. but Fury mopped the floor with him and I gave him all the credit in the world, I was not one of these clowns coming up with conspiracy theories WILDER SIMPLY GOT HIM BUTT WHOOPED....Boxing is 2 men in the ring fighting 1 on 1..Why is it so hard to give the winner credit when they come out on top?
Race or nationality does not make you superior, hard work and your dedication to your craft makes you superior..There is no race and nationality in a foxhole. it is just a human being trying to survive the best way they know how.I support talent and athletes who rise tot he top and overcome huge challenges. I can not respect athletes who do not work and make a mockery of their sports.. As a coach I preach hard work and focus, so I expect any top level athlete to have that ingrained in their bones.Comment

Nationalities/Race whatever, If he's a good boxer, I'll watch him. If he's not but entertaining, I'll watch him.. I struggle to watch women's boxing though, bores me to tears but give it a go from time to time..
What I don't get and have only just noticed from being on here is the support between promoter v promoter boxers.. now that I find weird.. I'm into watching boxing and hopefully good fights regardless of who they fight under...Comment

The biggest racist in Boxing are white people from Britain. It is common for non white boxers to face racism in Britain. They just have to deal with it.
Kid Galahad was robbed against Josh Warrington. Another fight was when Kash Farooq was robbed agains Lee Mcgregor. The outcome of that fight would have been very different if Kash was white not Pakistani.
Many African/Caribbean fighters face racism examples: Anthony Joshua, Chris Eubank and David Haye. Also
Middle Eastern fighters: Naseem Hamed and Kid Galahad. Read some of the comments on Barrera-Hamed fight on YouTube. You will understand exactly what I am talking about.
Also South Asian fighters: Amir Khan. We all know that most white british guys hate Khan for his race and religion. I could find many examples from this webiste.
First of all, Galahad wasn't robbed, it was a close fight that could've gone either way, however Warrington has a massive fanbase with a fan friendly style, Galahad is a spoiler with no fans, so yeah, it's not surprising that a close decision went to Warrington, but that's due to financial reasons, not racism.
Joshua, Khan, Haye etc are all incredibly successful millionaires who are household names in UK.
Joshua easily does the biggest ever numbers for a UK fighter, Khan was a big hit on I'm a Celebrity, as was Haye.
Yes there's a few racist idiots about, but you get that anywhere. The UK is one of the least racist countries in the world.Comment

I like Canelo’s class as a dude whom wishes the well being of opponents. Prays before the bell is rung, or like many MExican boxers, does the holy trinity sign to their chests each time a round starts. Usually that’s for their own well being. And with Canelo, before each round match starts he takes a KNEE to pray to the lord for a safe fight. We’ve seen in many cases of KO he goes to them for their well being. Look at the Kovalev KO too, told the crowd to quiet down and not cheer for joy that another man got hurt as such. That’s integrity. Canelo is a warrior. With Wilder, you can’t be loving God while promoting you want a body. That’s all Haymon and Finkle influencing Wilder to say those things for better sales. Whom do you think changed Floyd’s arrogance for better selling? Financial advisory.

Lol. Don’t be a n00b. Every time I go to Paris-Charles I get cringe snobbery from personnel. Either they hate their life, not happy... then again when u see French to French it’s all dandy. French-Brit rivalry and snobbery is old school.Comment
