Twice you gave Duran attributes he didn't have. At that stage, Duran wasn't even slick. Take into account how neanderthal like Barkley was.

If you want to see slick, see how Nelo made GGG miss 96 % of his rights and reduced him into being a jabbing head hunter.

Khan and Brook had moments of effectiveness...but never were the outcomes in doubt.

Duran was great up to welterweight but he was never even close to being a middleweight. He fought a great fight against Barkley. I consider both GGG and Canelo great middleweights and think either of them beat the much smaller Duran and might knocked Duran out as Hearns did at 154.

Todays Canelo would mop the floor with both of those versions of Barkley and Duran.
What Duran did after that fight was not part of the question.Duran and Barkley both showed up to fight and people I get Nellie is the best of his generation but facts are first ggg fight lost his heart a little bit when he put the track shoes on and to continue to have him beating all these greats when he’s not a huge puncher so he will have to go twelve with these guys who fight hard bell to bell.Ginger boy slows down dramatically in late rounds Which would cost him dearly unless Byrd was scoring the fight.

Angulo would look smooth vs most of the MWs Duran fought.

I'd rather pit the Duran at 154 that stopped Davey Moore vs Canelo at 154 for a much better fight. That Duran I'd pick to win a decision.
