In a boxing match, the featherweight knocks that guy the f**k out.

In a bar fight? I think that’s closer to 50-50. I would still pick the boxer because his fists are considered weapons by law.

at boxing? ... the boxer would win, so long as he is a good level

you said pro featherweight, so yea the boxer

nearly impossible for a big guy who can't fight to beat a small/quick boxer who can

be easier for him to land something on a middleweight

Alotta ppl don’t know this but Nonito Donaire tried out for the contender back before he knocked out Darchinyan and went on his p4p run the try outs involved sparring and Nonito who was a natural bantamweight at that time sparred a black dude who was a natural MW obviously Nonito weigh a bit more than the BW limit but he was out weighed big time long story short Nonito beat the crap out of the MW and had him wobbling around the ring, Nonito wasn’t chosen for the show because according to them he didn’t have the “look” yet he went on to win several title in several weight classes and all the guys for that seasons The contender ended up being garbage.

So yea it’s not about size it all about skill.

True skills are great to have, especially when throwing bare fists.

I was at a party way back when and somebody says "let's get the gloves out." So I end up throwing with guys who were much bigger than me. These guys were from the football and hockey teams. One guy out weighed me by 100lbs, the other by 50 or so. They couldn't of hit me if they were throwing a handful of rocks at me, let alone with their fists. Their punches came at me sooo slow, just like a boulder. Slip/duck and stick a jab in to their face. I gained respect that night with out even throwing a single right hand. Easy pickins……….Rockin'

in a boxing match, the pro featherweight wins, once you start removing rules, the chances of the untrained 250lber goes up.

Bottom line is size matters, but it aint the only thing that matters. A pro feathweight boxer, especially the really good ones, has spent YEARS learning how to throw fast accurate powerful shots, and avoid the same back in return. They know how to take a shot and keep throwing/moving. They are generally much physically stronger then their frame would suggest (eg:i know a pro featherweight who can deadlift 400lbs). They know how to get off with 5-6 punches before the average dude could throw one.

They would whoop an untrained guys ass, more then 99 times out of 100. But fighting is unpredictable, so at the end of the day anything can happen. I would say the main factor which could cause them to lose would be alcohol/drugs. If you're drunk off your ass or high as a kite, your balance, reflexes and co-ordination are out of whack. If a big guy could grab them, or hit them from behind, or knock them off balance, then they could certainly win. But thats against an impaired opponent.

I mean 6'4 and 250lb is a pretty big guy, especially if they arent super fat. But imagine having to fight prime Morales, Barrera, or Pacquiao. Like come on. Those guys were straight killers man. 126lbs or not.

The meathead. When you meet these guys in person you realize they are the size of middle school children.
