However, he doesn't throw enough punches because he is predominantly a counter puncher.
He is like a boxer puncher type of guy, but Spence is a better boxer and a better inside fighter, which is why I think it will be a shutout.
Having said that however, we've seen fighters raise their game monumentally for fights like this.
Look how much Maidana raised his game for the first mayweather fight.
More relevantly, look how much Porter raised his game for the Spence fight.
Porter trained since before even the Thurman vs Pac fight, and had Andrade (arguably the slickest and rangiest southpaw in boxing, and also bigger and longer than Spence) and David Bernavides (huge strong guy) for sparring partners.
Porter also incorporated new moves we had never seen him use before in the Spence fight and delivered the performance of his career.
Spence is elite so even when his opponent has the best night of their life and he has just another normal day or below average day he can still beat you because there is levels to this ish, but still Porter made it far more competetive than we expected and a different judge who doesn't know what they watching could have given it to Porter.
So yes, Danny can very well take Spence close or even get a victory because I suspect he, like Porter, will have the training camp of his career and will introduce new moves we ain't never seen from him before. Couple that with the Spence accident and who knows, maybe even a devastating KO victory.
The main difference though is that Spence seems to have gone beast mode on training too. He has already started training camp and every time he appears on media he either training or talking about training. If that chin ain't damaged by the accident Danny will be in for a tough time.
But bruh I apologise if I made it sound like I was doubting Danny's skills and heart. I think Spence is better but I know Danny has elite heart and skills.
