The only reason why these options have become so pathetic proves Canelo’s paycut. As long as other fighters in the game didn’t jump on the opportunity reflects on their resumes, and in the end, shouldn’t get the post-pandemic payday. The fighters whom we don’t even know about are getting the lowest pay. Maybe it’s time for GBp and Canelo to be cheap and ride the wave as well, if that’s what fans want.

Jason Quigley: "I'm possibly going to be fighting Canelo… It's a high possibility now. Golden Boy and my management have been in touch. They offered me the fight. There's other boxers that could be getting the fight as well. But I have been asked, I said yes." [@SkySportsBoxing] pic.twitter.com/bXnRx2drhu

Who’s this Quigly guy? Like honestly I’ve never heard of this guy before. What has he done in his career to warrant a Canelo fight? Genuinely curious.Comment

Touted Irish ammy standout who fell at his first real hurdle in the pros (against Tureano Johnson who's also in the running for a Canelo fight and hardly more deserving).Comment

Damage control? Canelo been having options. Hey man how many people died because of covid-19? I’ll take a Quigley or whatever that dude is name over a Schwartz or Wallin, whom had nothing to do with Covid-19. Or I’ll take a Rolls or Brandon Adams too.
Matchmaking in 2020 was so easy for all promoters wasn’t it?Comment
