he and his promoter were saying that before the mean machine fight...then for about a week after it arum was still saying it...then kenny porter said "call us we can make a fight" and crawford was interviewed like a week later at a fight saying "porter isnt on the radar"......go figure....

yup...this after saying "hes not on our radar" a mere week after kenny porter said "hey call us we can make a fight".....he said "thats not on our radar" and that he wanted "spence" and was "after belts and porter dont have one"

arum likes throwing out the names when he thinks they wont respond or al has other plans for them....kenny porter said "call us" and crawfords tone went from "yeah we lookin at porter" to "not on our radar we want belts or spence"

but when crawford says "its not on our radar...were not looking for contenders we want the champs...we want belts"....dont u think haymon is like "sure ok...ill plan something else up for shawn...something in house"?

you cant go floating a guys name...have that guys father say "call us we can make a fight" and then rebuff that by saying "nah we aint interested actually" and expect him to jump for you months later...especially when porters advisor is a powerful man with a deep crop of welterweights....you dont see any issue with that?

not saying arum is the first guy to ever pull something like this.....but its an obvious case of what hes done/doing here with porter

porter is no slouch or bum that you have to make come crawling to you...they said they werent interested and im sure haymon has decided to go in another direction after initially giving porter his blessing....

you cant go around saying insincere stuff about wanting a fight...its what lead floyd to stop trying with pac for a few years...he got fed up with the games arum was playing ...thats why he said he didnt chase the fight...after a little bit he said "fug it"...this isnt on the same level or the same amount of time....but its similar in a way

Thurman sc****d by Porter himself, didn't drop Porter, and is scared to give Porter his rematch...

I think highly of him, I do think he is a terrific fighter, I admire his skills, his IQ, his dog in him, I don't think he is afraid of fighting anybody, the problem that I got with him is that he put money over legacy, he knew that resigning with Arum wasn't going to enhance his legacy. I don't care what anybody says Haymon and Arun doesn't have a good history of putting fights together sin a long time ago.

He's fought Haymon fighters before but let's be real, Molina was on his way out, Haymon didn't have a role for Molina anymore on building up his top WW's.

Haymon is building his fighters up and he don't have the need to put Spence right now vs Crawford, Spence can have 3 belts at WW and can move up to collect belts at SWW. ,

Crawford is gonna be known as the great talent who never fought an elite guy, sad situation.

You nailed it man...Bud is going on 33 and still doesn't have a signature win over a prime/top WW... He's in my top five favorite active fighters, which makes it that much more frustration for me.
