Negative Boxing or Negative Boxers for the WIN

    Let's list them

    1. John Ruiz - great at grappling, clinching and negating any counters.
    2. Ricky Hatton - a much better boxer but he knew when to hold and clinch.
    3. Andre Ward - I like him a lot but just because I do I cant call him a king, hes a spade too.
    4. Evander Holyfield - the most talented so far but still he made great use of the clinch and his forehead.
    5. Duran, gotta put him there with Evander. A lot of wrestling, pushing, pulling.
    6. Wlad Klitscko turned into a master at negative fighting, it pretty much saved his career.

    Who else do you have?

    Erislandy Lara

Beautiful southpaw 1-2-1 when he let his hands go, but the man would outright run at times making everyone doubt his desire to be great by dominating opponents

Like most Cubans Not a dirty fighter by any means unlike the guys you listed, but Lara hurt his case for the decision

Paulie, who loves scientific hit & not get hit, had to admit Lara sometimes ran when covering the Lara Alvarez fight

Lara is the toughest among the modern Cubans with the most longevity. I wish the man a great next 2 years where he leaves his big mark on boxing. He 37 now
