Floyd and Pacman were weight drained? Dude, most people are weight drained big or small, weight classes are just an illusion. There are guys who weigh more than others when they don't have a fight yet they are able to fight a division or even 2 lower than other guys just bc they are better at cutting weight, but that's a discussion for another thread. Back to Floyd and Pacman, these guys rarely if ever cut weight so your argument holds little water. Also, I've listed hall of famers so people can recognize the names, there are plenty of small fighters that people don't know that beat big fighters that people don't know, but since you don't know them I'm listing fighters that most people would know or have heard about it.
Smaller Fighters Beat Bigger Fighters All the Time, Yet the Boxing World MUM About IT

Agree with most of what you said, but lol always a but aye, when you say they dont cut weight well they do but its not a great deal, their body is at a very low body fat and when you are in this kind of condition you are slightly dehydrated, a little dry thats the nature of being supremely conditioned at a low body fat ratio , they are not wet and carrying a lot of water, so even though they dont have to cut a lot of weight its possible to be dehydrated. Ive seen this with fighters, greyhounds and pit dogs. I think a lot of fans know they are in shape but take it for granted and not understanding the level of conditioning they are in.Floyd and Pacman were weight drained? This is why Im always harping on weights and match making because it has so much influence on things and yet is so blown off by fans like it dont matter.Comment

Boxing has weight classes to protect the smaller men, is probably what he meant, so it's a sport that smaller men can be successful in.
There are not NBA divisions for 5'5" guys, another for 5'8" guys, etc. which would be comparable adjustments.Comment

No, Floyd & Pac are ATGs, which makes including them ridiculous. It's like arguing, "well Michael Jordan & LeBron James did this, so everybody does it."Floyd and Pacman were weight drained? No, they don't 90% of the time, the smaller man loses to the bigger man unless there is a huge disparity in talent. That is a factComment

90% of the time? Dude, did you even finish grade 6 math. I'm not being rude to you but pretty much all fighters go up in weight and they win more than they lose so that 90% is either your math skills being completely off or your common sense is punch drunk. No, Floyd & Pac are ATGs, which makes including them ridiculous. Look what happened to David Haye when he faced Bellew
Look what happened to John Ruiz when he fought Roy Jones
What happened when Duran moved up to fight SRR

Or there's a lot of guys who are weight bullies who should already be in larger weight classes.
Or there are lots of guys who continue to grow into their grown man bodies.
I'm not being rude to you, but you should know that.Comment
