What do you guys think about Tye Fields?

I know it may sound ******, many people on this forum dont talk about him, or whenever they do call him a freakshow or something, the guy has only one loss on his record and he avenged it by knocking the guy out in the rematch, he is a giant at 6'10 and looks like a beast, has beaten former champion Bruce Seldon, Contenders Ed Mahone and Maurice Harris.

Standing nearly 6'10 tall, heavyweight Tye Fields, 266, won a 4th Round TKO victory over Ed Mahone, 239. The Las Vegas crowd in attendance was high on anticipation for this bout between the two former national heavyweight champions. The southpaw Fields demolished Mahone improving his record to 36-1, 33 KOs. Mahone's record drops to 23-6-2, 23 KOs.

Fields established his big left hand early in Round 1 causing a tentative Mahone to run away from his aggressor. The Referee chastised Mahone telling the boxer to get to work! Before Mahone could get to work, a Fields left-and-right sent Mahone sailing to the canvas. Mahone lifted himself from the floor. The bell sounded to end Round 1 before Fields could engage Mahone again. In Round 2, Mahone fought back scoring a thunderous left hook followed by a big right hand. However, Fields continued to land his straight lefts throughout the round. In Round 3, a straight left from Fields floored Mahone. Mahone rose to his feet only to go down again. Mahone's second recovery was also short-lived as a barrage from Fields scored the Giant Heavyweight his third knockdown of the round and his fourth knockdown of the battle. In the Fourth Round, Fields was measuring Mahone. Fields connected with a flurry of punches pinning Mahone against the ropes and rendering him defenseless. Referee Richard Steele waved off the bout at 1:10 of Round 4 declaring a TKO victory for Fields.

He is a joke. Valuev or any top 15 guy would whip his ass.
I watched him fight live last year and I was actually laughing. He is slower than hell and looks very awkward.

Fields does not have much talent, pretty much just size.

I know alot of people critisize Valuev but I dont think he is that bad. All he has to do is have average ability + his size & he has a chance against alot of heavyweights in the current weak division. Alot of poeple judge him & have not even seen him before.

I am hoping we all get to see him on HBo against Barrett in Oct.

believe me. as awckward and slow as valuev is,,,fields is 2 steps behind. he's going to get beaten badly the moment he steps up. he's just feasting on smallish past there prime heavies that crumble to his size and strength

The reason i hate Tye Fields is not because he is lacking talent, its cos he is lacking heart. He has had nearly 40 fights and hasn`t fought anyone approaching the top 20. What a gutless turd, he should be called Turd fields.
I hope Rahman or Klitscko batter him and make him quit boxing!

Fields is a novelty act. He'll probably never crack the Top 20 let alone the Top 10.I seen his fight with Julius Long.It was a great fight to watch the best part about it was it only went 3 rounds.

I heard Fields thinks he has it in him to become heavyweight champ! Someone should tell him the truth and hopefully he`ll retire and get a job as an evergreen tree!
