Right. I hate how even rounds are frowned upon, same with 10-8 rounds. A feel out first round can be worth a point by throwing ten punches compared to the others guys nine, then a guy can batter someone pillar to post and land twenty five more punches and it’s still only worth the same single point. I’m not sure if u have the same gripes?
Same with ufc. Look at the fight with Holloway and Volkanovski. The two knockdowns Holloway got were essentially worthless on the cards because he was already winning those rounds.
I think 10-8 and even rounds shouldn’t be frowned on. It makes no sense.

      I'd outlaw clinching.

As a fighter I never agreed with it. I never clinch as a fighter. If I'm in close I'm phone booth fighting. I'm not there to hold you.

Can't stand people who argue it's some valid tactic. It's puss ish. Period. People criticized Mares for throwing down when rocked against....I forgot his name, when he got stopped in the early rounds. That's a warrior to me. Your stock goes up, not down. Avoid the bicycle and the clinch and say to yourself, if I'm going down, I'm bringing this guy with me. Guns blazing.

I would returned to boxers weighing in about 8 hours before the fight instead of weighing in about 32 hours before the fight as they do today.

I agree with you... having 4+ champions in each division is the worst thing in the sport atm.

              I couldn't agree more.

We need a single organisation running boxing.

the winner of a fight should get his hand raised at all times not just when it suits the money men, scoring system out and bad judges banned not praised

10-10 rounds should be more frequent. For example if Canelo fights a top fighter and they have 6 close rounds to start the fight, it will likely be 60-54 Canelo on the cards, whereas it could be 60-60, 60-59 on a fairer system, take away the home favorites edge by making them win rounds more clearly. Also, I'm sick of having to sit through national anthems all the time. If people want to listen the the national anthem, they can have it on a loop in their own homes. Sometimes i feel like I'm being force fed the national anthem. I'm English, the anthem means nothing to me at all, but it means something to others, I don't mind, it does not belong in boxing imo. And like I said, people can listen to the anthem at home any time they want if it means so much to them.

Boxing becomes a better sport OVERNIGHT with adoption of 1 belt per weight. Fans can get behind that and boxing possibly become mainstream again. It's impossible for casuals to follow a sport with 4+ champions...that's literally contradictory. You cant have FOUR (or more) champions.

Odd rounds and five judges and boxing is fixed.
