That is his opinion. I don't think he is better than those guys but he thinks he is. I don't get why that bothers you? If Loma suggested he was better than these guys you wouldn't complain at all. You seem to want Floyd to have the same opinion of himself as you do. That is ridiculous.

You're doing it again. You only use what he says when it serves your purpose. When he says one thing, you discount it. When he says another, you accept it word for word.

And plenty of people still give Marciano and boxers like Willie Pep a mystic aura of invincibility and untouchability.

I think that’s where you are misunderstanding me as if I am determining Floyd’s legacy will be greater than Pacquiao’s.

Even Mike Tyson has this ever lasting mystic aura surrounding his legacy. To the point that people believe him at 20 was the end of his prime.

Pacquiao will be remembered forever as a warrior. But like you said with Marciano, Floyd is going to be remembered forever with a mystic aura on being untouchable.

That’s my guess about their legends but we will have to see thirty years from now.

I think menayothin will be more remembered as the untouchable as he is 54-0.

          Two flaws with this post.

          1. Floyd's resume and style stand the test of time as well. That is why he is ranked ahead of Manny in every credible list of ATG boxers, the same way Duran is ranked ahead of the men you reference in this post.

          2. The reason Duran is ranked ahead of them is because he was the dominant LW, arguably the best ever, before he moved up. He wasn't a career WW like Benitez, SRL or Hearns or a career MW like Hagler. Manny was never that in any weight class he was in.

You're pitching hypotheticals now. Floyd does this every time someone else gets a little bit of the spotlight. He needs to go on some unprovoked rant about how he is greater than this fighter or that fighter. He's an arrogant fraud. I don't hold him to a higher standard either. If any other fighter behaves this way I think it's petty. Fury does the same thing, I don't give him a pass. He's an arrogant clown.

Easy to be aggressive with the lumps Pac fought. Needed a cw vs Cotto ?!?!?!

Demanded a similar cw for the rematch ?!?!?

Rios was in the same class with maidana but the difference is pac make a class b/c boxer looks like an amateur in the ring while floyd make a class b/c boxer look like an elite in the ring.
