Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury in The Clear as Farmer Withdraws Bribe Allegations

According to the Daily Mail, the Lancashire pig farmer who claimed he was offered 25,000 to lie about Tyson Fury's failed drug test has now dropped his allegations. Martin Carefoot, 70, told the paper that he is no longer cooperating with an investigation into Fury's positive test for nandrolone in February 2015.

I wonder if Fury paid him to drop the case or he just realized he'd never win the legal battle vs someone whose pockets are as deep as Fury's

            It's a sketchy one..

Martin's well known for his dishonesty, Tyson's not kept it clean so there's always going to be that did it /didn't it..

Although reality is now that it's a case closed and for the history books...

It'll be something some people will try beat him with, but somehow I don't think Tyson would be that bothered what nobodies thought of him...

Carefoot told the Times: "I've had nothing but problems right from the beginning of this, and I don't want to get involved."
Martin Carefoot is letting us know that Tyson sent Daniel Kinahan to deal with this poor Farmer.

He only came out after Tyson hit the real BIG TIME money. Provided he is telling the truth about being bribed to lie about supplying wild boar meat, I would assume he WAS paid the bribe money back then - as if Fury's team would be so ****** as to not pay the man his chump change to keep his mouth shut. It's been about five years now and the farmer has had financial troubles and seeing the new success of Fury thought why not try his luck and get more money out of Mr. Fury, seeing as how he felt he wasn't paid enough back then compared to the millions Fury went on to make.

He was then threatened by either the Fury's, others in the gypsy community or most likely as a favour from the K-cartel (or any combination of the few). Now he has withdrawn his statement for fear of reprisal.

If the original bribe story is true that is how I see how it happened.
