They saw the chance to cherry pick a title, and good for them both

    Bivol 168 ?

Canelo won a world championship at 175.

He’s clearly a good light heavyweight.

Jesus F**king Christ this message board is so f**king ******.

And we’re comparing GGG, who’s one loss was incredibly close and controversial, to Andre Berto and Robert Guerrero?

      What the f**king f**k?

This place is so f**king ******.

Golovkin is fighting for money. Do we give Berto and Guerrero credit for fighting the then P4P best, or do we see it as a no-lose payday?

Sure, but what’s in it for Canelo to fight him? It doesn’t win him a title and Bivol isn’t a money or legacy fight. Nor is Bivol relevant at 168, and is 2nd best at 175

I don’t see any particular momentum for this fight

Not sure how anyone can blame Canelo for fighting someone else. Sure if he fights an overmatched opponent, he should be criticised. But that’s nothing to do with Bivol

Not directly comparing those fighters, but the circumstances of fighting the ‘P4P no.1’. I hope you’re just pretending to not understand something fairly simple on a public forum

Have you seen who they are mentioning as his potential opponents for his next two fights
So you’d rather entertain a third instalment of GGG ?
The same guy that they’ve made fun of and have alluded to as a bum , the reason why Mosley is spamming with GGG

              I understand completely.

If you didn’t have an irrational hate of GGG, him moving up in weight to fight the top pound for pound fighter would be ballsy.

Since you hate him, it’s a cash out move reserved for a p*ssy.

My opinion - I’d take either fight. Golovkin would be an entertaining fight, but he is getting old. But in terms of the business, Golovkin is a big money fight for both. Bivol isn’t. I can completely understand why Canelo would pick Golovkin over Bivol. The sport is a business first unfortunately

I don’t hate him at all. I’ve defended him against the Canelo fanboys for months on here.

The issue is, you’re a fanboy, and I’m not. Anything that doesn’t praise Golovkin 100% is a ‘hater’. I see Golovkin as lock in HOF middleweight, who beat Canelo the first time, and was unfortunate with an either way fight the 2nd time

I suggest deflecting against someone with similar fanboy tendencies to yourself

I thought he said he was done with GGG
He’d never give him another pay day
Imo , he beat him decisively in the second fight
                    Really no need
                    But hey wtv

That's the level I have Golovkin at (C+). In fact, those might even have more skills than him. Golovkin is now old and his next fight is against a huge bum. Keep it up!
