Kid will beat him. I will bet anyone points if fight is made.
lol that's quite harsh. He's just below top-level and doesn't look like he has much of a chin or power. He can box - because he has to but I don't see him winning here. Only reason he looked good against Loma is because Loma was fighting above his weight.

Triangle theory doesn't work in boxing though. Too many differences between Loma and Garcia to guage how effective he'd be against Garcia. His height & reach helped him a lot in the Loma fight where as Garcia is taller and longer than Loma so those advantages are outta the window.

If I had to guess right now I'd say Garcia beats him on points in a competitive fight. I think he's too fast for Campbell and he can crack with some sneaky shots. Probably catches Campbell in between shots and drops him at some point
Honestly, I see it the same as you and for the same reasons. Still a fight I'd like to see.

I think it's a bit of a trade-off because yes, Garcia is taller and longer than Loma but he doesn't have as many tools in his toolbox either.

From what I can tell, Ryan has a mean counter left hook that he throws to defend against jabs. Campbell isn't as dynamic but he has a solid overall skillset and contrary to popular belief, he's not a bum just because he's not popular.

I looked through their records on Boxrec (which isn't everything but it's a point of reference) and Campbell's best win is against Yvan Mendy (#12 at 135), he split two fights with him so that tells me Campbell is a top-10 lightweight (he's rated #8) who could be a few spots higher or lower performance-wise depending on the night.

Ryan Garcia is rated #10 and his best wins are against Romero Duno and Francisco Fonseca (#36 and #57 respectively)

Does that automatically mean Luke Campbell will win? Not necessarily, but it does show you just how much of a step up Campbell represents compared to who Garcia has faced so far.

We know Ryan Garcia has talent, but we don't know if it's top-5 (or even top-10) talent, which is what I think it will take to beat Luke Campbell convincingly. Anything less than that and we have ourselves a 50-50 fight.

Ryan hasn't fought anybody yet, and beating Campbell wouldn't impress me much, since I expect him to KO Campbell. Garcia has all the advantages except experience.

Not a big Garcia fan either.
For me, it's a tough one. I'd like it to be Garcia's time, but I think Campbell has enough to win a decision.
I'd do an e-points bet with ya.....
