This fights. A bit Meh - I doubt I’ll watch
Kownacki was obliterated fast in his last fight so there’s zero chance they put that as a co main event . Kaufman fought awhile back and didn’t get obliterated he lost while on his feet still fighting to somehow called the boogeyman ,which I’m still trying to figure out why .

It's a decent showcase for Wallin especially if he can stop him early the fight I want to see is Wallin vs Martin

Martin who lost to AJ? Why?

I'd rather see Wallin fight Ruiz Jr or Povetkin.

Good cross road fight but Martin will probably get some form of title shot if he wins a few more , Wallin was A.J s sparring partner for the Martin fight . Wallin needs a few more Kaufman level fights he’s already been rushed and now you have the trolls who come out on here because of it .

Because Martin has looked in better form in his recent showings and it would be 2 top level southpaws fighting each other in the Heavyweight division how often do we see that.

You do realize Ruiz and Povetkin both lost to AJ too right? lol

I just want to see 2 high profile southpaw heavyweights go at it Wallin vs Ortiz vs Martin in any combination.

To be honest I forgot kownacki lost! So scrap that - but maybe a Brezeale comeback - or a Michael hunter would’ve made more sense

I guess it's because I really don't consider Martin a top level southpaw, or HW at all.

I'm aware all 3 lost to AJ. How you lose matters a lot in boxing, almost more than the result itself. How you perform is relevant results aside. Martin embarrassed himself by basically showing up for a check and not coming to win. That's a huge red flag for fans, Ruiz Jr stopped him and lost a rematch, Povetkin accounted much better for himself as well.

I don't rate Martin in the top 15 in the division. When you literally either quit, or visibly show up for the check but not to compete, you don't just erase that with a decent showing. Shaking the label of a quitter is not easily done.

Give me your top 15 Heavyweights then I'd like to see who you place in the last 12 spots. I don't think Martin quit against AJ either he just got caught it was AJ's night Martin is working his way back up the rankings like all fighters coming off a loss do he didn't have the luxury of requesting a rematch the way AJ did against Ruiz.

Breazeale vs Wallin would have been a good one ,I remember Breazeale struggling with SP Mansour and a tall southpaw before the Wilder fight so I think he gets out pointed with a decent puncher standing a bit over 6”5 . Hunter is a better fight but I don’t think it would be much excitement. I’d take Wallin over both .
