Canelo's oppurtunity to really move forward.

How much credit would you give Canelo with this schedule. Lets be honest it probably wouldnt happen but wish it would. The Covd 19 period has really stalled boxing. Canelo could really cement his legayc if when things get back to normal, he really push his legacy with these 4 fights. David Benavidez at 168, then GGG 3 at either 160 or 168, Then Bivol at 168 or 175. Then finish with Beterbiev at 175. That would really help set him up as an alltime great.

I have been pushing Canelo to fight Beterbiev ASAP. Such a win would dethrone Marquez Pac series all together. Beterbiev doesn’t have a Ring IQ like GGG. Beterbiev has been hit and dropped. Canelo and Reynoso just gotta see tape carefully. Canelo is faster. All the other fights imo aren’t as good. Benavidez second I guess

I’d give him full credit win or lose. It won’t happen though...

Maybe if Beterbiev and Bivol get stopped a few times before Canelo fights them

Beterbiev is within the Canelo age range.

Bivol is 6 years away from getting the fight.

Canelo loses to Beterbiev and Benavidez and possibly Bivol at 175 but stands a good chance at beating GGG

As much as I love GGG, if Canelo wants to chase greatness he should skip another fight with him and take on 168 and even 175 champs. Beating GGG again does nothing for his legacy (1st fight he lost, 2nd he won pretty clearly).

He's got the speed and smarts to beat the bigger guys.

yeah it does if he stops him. That would definitively end it. I am waiting for someone to say Charlo, Andrade , and BJS instead. LOL!!!! Canelo whips all of them. Andrade is too defensive, same with BJS they just dont throw enough punches. I think he stops Charlo. Charlo is very hittable and too basic.

You kind of contradicted yourself by saying Canelo lost the 1st fight and won the 2nd fight. In boxing, that means a 3rd fight is a must , which will close the GGG chapter of Canelo's career.

Canelo vs benavidez would be a good litmus test. Benavidez is big and athletic. Make the fight in december!!!!!! Got Canelo by decision. Canelo stops GGG late. Canelo beats Bivol by wide decision or stops him late. Bivol can be hurt and Canelo will slowly break him down , especially if it is at 168. Canelo and beterbiev would be a war. I could see Canelo and Beterbiev going either way.
