Comments Thread For: Carlos Castro Beats Down, Stops Cesar Juarez in Four Rounds

Carlos Castro proved without a doubt that he's ready for the next level. The 26-year old junior featherweight contender turned in a complete performance, dismantling former interim titlist Cesar Juarez en route to a one-sided stoppage win. Four one-sided rounds were enough for Juarez to be kept on his stool prior to the start of round five in their ESPN-televised chief support Thursday evening at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This guy fights intelligently but also has some pop to his punches.

Someone to keep an eye on.

            Great statement.

I am going to follow Carlos Castro, he have the goods. I underestimated him. I was leaning for a Cesar Juarez upset, but Wow! what a surprise Carlos Castro winning against a tough and resilient in Cesar Juarez in this fashion.
