Comments Thread For: Navarrete Still Hoping For Unification, Not Against Facing Shakur Stevenson

Emanuel Navarrete (32-1, 28 KOs) returned to the ring last month in a stay-busy fight in Mexico, as he tested the waters in the featherweight division. The current WBO super bantamweight world champion is still hoping to get one of the other champions in the ring for a unification. He admits that it wasn't easy to prepare himself during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

I like Navarrete but he loses to Stevenson. Too reckless with his attack.

Who would you favor Gonzalez or navarrete? But then again stevenson is better now than the gonzalez fight

Would love to see Navarrette vs Jojo Diaz or Gary Russel at 126

Navarette beats Gonzalez at this stage of his career. ESPN reported that Stevenson moving up to 130 so I would like to see Navarette fight for that vacant 126 belt next.

I agree with Stevenson beating Navarette unless he clips him first

We will never know now. Stevenson is staying at 130. I expect him to always be a division above Navarette.

                  Yup
Can’t blame him ,especially in today’s fughin boxing
Better to stay a division lower or higher for that case , and not be called a ducker
Don’t get me wrong , it’s easy today to call someone a ducker
                  Not like before lol

Navarrete is going to be tested again very soon.

Navarrete option are very good, but still I prefer those unification in the 122 lbs first, apparently that is wishful thinking of me.
