Lets be honest here. We need to have this discussion. I hope this thread does not get closed. There is no racism in US boxing. There are so many non white boxers in the USA who have made it to the top. They dont face racism from the fans and public. Look at the racism guys like Anthony Joshua and Amir khan have to face everyday. Take any Amir Khan video and look at the comments enough said. Same with Anthony Joshuas *** demo video on youtube. The fact that Naseem Hamed and Amir Khan receive more love in the US says it all. David Haye has also been the victim of racism from british fans because he is arrogant lmao.
Many Hispanic-American and African-American boxers have become multi-millionaires and househould names in the USA. We cant say that for the non white boxers in the UK. When there have been numerous great non white boxers from the UK. We all know the hate Chris Eubank recieved in the 90s. As a Mexican-American I dont understand why Khan and Hamed are hated so much? Is it because they are both brown and ******? Naseem Hamed is arguably the most talented fighter the UK has ever produced. I would go further saying Naseem was the most naturally gifted sportsman that Great Britain has ever produced. Kid galahad was also racially abused when he fought Josh Warrington in Leeds. But still you have british people claiming there is no racism in Britain. "British boxing fans dont see race".
