Whatever happened to Jermain Taylor?

Last time I saw anything about him was him pulling out a pistol on someone at a parade in Arkansas and having a crazed look on his face in his mugshot. At the time I feared he had brain damage. This was a little while back. Does anyone know what the latest is with him?

Looks like he's just been living his life without doing cray cray sh^t for the last 2 years.

Think I had the under on him doing something criminal within a year of his last incident so I'd have lost money on that one. Good thing to be wrong about doe I suppose.

Heard he was an alcoholic, on top of the CTE stuff. Never a good mix.

The reality is, they tried to sweep B-Hop under the carpet by ushering in the reign of a younger fighter. B-Hop didn't lose though, he was robbed in both those fights! Fook dat! And it turned out Jermain Taylor just did not have the mental fortitude and warrior spirit to reign supreme. He made hard work of defences against Winky Wright, Kassim Ouma and Corey Spinks, all blown up from Welterweight and Super Welterweight. He was mentally done once he'd "beaten" Hopkins twice.
