Man, Mares is really looking to go blind for the rest of his life. I think he needs to realize that it's not going to happen, you had a decent career, the analyst job is a pretty decent gig to have. Be happy with what you have.

My thoughts exactly 2 detached retinas in his career and he's not getting younger he seems to have a job lined up with commentary so he should just quit while he's ahead I don't see him beating anybody at 130 he is too small and was never a big puncher.

I actually think Ryan Garcia and Mares would be fantastic. Simply because it gives Garcia a "name" to fight. And vice versa, if Mares wins, it will 'appear' that he's done something worthy.

I'd take Mares if I had to pick a winner in that fight
