Floyd Mayweather was scared of Junior Witter. I never realised that.

Not a chance. Junior Witter's defining moment should have been a fight with Ricky Hatton. But, he made it so personal, really got under Hatton's skin to the point Ricky refused to entertain the idea of giving him a payday. Would have been a cracking fight too. Shame. Witter is an alphabet-title holding also ran, got beaten by any decent opponents he faced. Another loudmouth from the Ingle camp.

😂 😂 😂 😂 Thanks for the laugh. Shame he was shamelessly got ducked by Hatton doe. No excuse for that duck but losing to Witter would have destroyed his career in the U.K.. Same way Khan avoided Brook. But there comes a point when you move on. If a fighter isn’t going to fight you then just move on. Don’t put your career on them, Witter was doing everything to get that fight, just like Brook did with Khan. It nearly took over their boxing careers.

The only part Witter got right was the "styles makes fight" bit.
It would almost certainly have been an absolute stinker of a fight but Mayweather would have won.

Credit for beating DeMarcus Corley and winning the WBC strap but he's way off the mark here. Where's that checkpoint in his brain saying 'no' when he's talking like this?

He was good enough to make anyone look bad, especially in his prime but he was just horrendous to watch. About as fan friendly as Okolie and praise doesn't come much lower than that.

Mayweather and Witter would have stunk the joint out but Mayweather wins easiy.

Witter got beat by a green Timmy.

Witter is underrated imo but as if he would've beaten Floyd lol.
