If you trust Compubox, Manny missed over 80 percent of his punches.

A guy who previously threw over 1,000 punches against a heavily defensive Clottey. Yet against Floyd, barely threw more than him and couldn't even land 85 of them.

Floyd was so comfortable that he pulled this off. Nobody has ever treated Manny like a sparring partner before or since.

So when I say BLOWOUT, I'm talking about the totality of performance compared to the opponent.

It is universally accepted that Manny won 2 rounds CLEARLY.

In the words of Floyd (have to find that interview clip, it was right after the shoulder excuse), "10 rounds to 2...blowout."
its easy to throw 1000 punches against a guy who turtles up in a high guard and stands there ....much tougher against a guy who will make you miss and slap u back

Come on, look at that top gif. Why wasn't Manny throwing at the beginning of that?

GREATEST OFFENSIVE FIGHTER, scared to throw punches against a guy with known brittle hands. It's a damn shame.

dude...i dont disagree...all i said was "its easy to throw 1000 against clottey because clottey stand in front of you with a high guard and theres still a target there to be hit...whether or not it gets through the guard or not.....trying to hit mayweather means alot of misses and getting slapped back"

Anyone who thinks Pacquiao won more than 3 rounds doesn’t know s*it about boxing!

It was a blowout. I gave Pac 2 rounds and thought there was one more that was close. Apart from that he got straight schooled and anyone who thinks it was even competitive needs to be drug tested!

Yeah, getting slapped back by a guy with KNOWN BRITTLE HANDS.

It's just boggling to me. We KNOW Mayweather has a history of hand injuries. I remember during I believe the Baldomir fight seeing his face showing pain after he threw.

Yet that man managed to walk down the "Baddest Man on the Planet" and stop him,
completely shut down the "Greatest Offensive Fighter",
make short work of two 'eye tests' in Robert Guerrero and Victor Ortiz,
make Carnelo Alvarez look like a straight up rookie,
completely embarrass in one fight the guy Manny couldn't deal with across four, etc.

              All with bad MF'n hands.

And yet Manny was STILL tentative.

I confess I was in the camp that wanted Pac to win. I like Manny more than I do Floyd. The fact is Manny just plain lost. Manny did not bring his A game that night. I was disappointed AF. That fight could have been one of the greatest fights in boxing history but it was a total snoozefest

I can't agree with any of the poll options.

Floyd won clearly in a fight which started off fairly competitive then became less so, Manny performance was disappointing as I don't even think Floyd was particularly brilliant that night by his own standards, but Pac was dire.

I still wish we had seen the fight back when Pac was fresh off that Oscar-Hatton-Cotto run as Pac was a KILLER at that point, but just a good fighter when Floyd beat him. Not saying he'd have won but it'd have been a better fight and better result for Floyd if he had beat him then.

That means the third option is for you.

82% disagree it was a draw.

Same percentage of punches Manny missed.

                      This is appropriate.
