Is stamina subjective? You’ve got Andy Ruiz throwing flurries at HW... but Canelo doe?

Didn't you see the Danny Jacobs fight? Canelo was gasping for air. That spandex knee pad was the reason why he couldn't do roadwork. He had to do his cardio creatively. Yes he went the full twelve but imo he was gassed.

Do me a favour and watch this complete trailer. I’m 85% sure you’re Robert De Niro in this situation.

      Am I wrong?

Canelo gas tank isn’t his strong point. His ring iq and counterpunching make up for his stamina

He would gas often at the start of his career. It less noticeable now that he has experience and controls fights better

A good swarmed like Andrade would give him hell in addition to fleet footed boxers like Floyd & Lara

Yeah, he's never had great stamina. Even if he's juicing, that's sure as hell not one of the benefits.

That’s not how boxing works. Whose defense was better, PBF or Post Mayweather? Canelo is significantly a different counter puncher than his early 20’s. Nowadays he would tame fleet footed in Lara easily and knock him. The only guy with “speed” imo where Canelo needs to be careful is Bivol whom doesn’t fight like Lara, Andrade..

What is “great stamina?” How is this measured when boxers have different body fats, physiques? If you’ve been in the gym, you realize you tire less depending on the type of shots on the heavy bag. The more power, exertion, depletes the tank opposed to just jabs... this is common sense. What types of shots does Canelo do? If you just pot shot around to rack points and flee the pocket, you’re not going to tire when doing 1-2 power shot combinations to the body. Missing and conservation is part of the game. If you can go 12, “great stamina is subjective.” How did Hagler look in the later rounds vs the earlier rounds against Leonard?

Remember the good old days where Canelo would rest by trying to shoulder roll along the ropes

Alvarez has the highest ring iq today I think. No one learns and improves from fight to fight the way Alvarez does

This 100. Canelo is the baddest fighter in da game. Name other fighters whom dip, squat, bob and weave consistently with Canelo’s physique!!!! Nobody does That. Canelo doesn’t have to. He could be stiff like Danny Garcia or Errol Spence without any dip footwork but he chooses not to. He even dipped various times against Khan!!! Lol. Anybody who does gym workouts knows that dips and deep squats take a shet load of energy. Again, nobody takes Canelo’s weight into context. Dude is a tank.
