Providing he can make weight, Lemieux has a good chance of getting this fight even though he hasn't been mentioned by many yet.
I didn't realise fans would be allowed if ithe fight would be in Canada. If so, that tips things towards him even more.

Now we are seeing the hungriest fighter want Canelo.

For me is fair for Canelo Alvarez fight a decent name in Anthony Direll and Sullivan Barrera, maybe the same David Lemieux. The angle is, we are in the pandemic, things slow like a crawl, more invested money, what we can expect during this period, Damn!

Barrera has no fans. Even if the fight would be good (I'd favor Barrera) theres no media behind Barrera. Abel Sanchez is the best thing about Barrera...

Lemieux would be target practice for Canelo and fans will say he KO'd a punching bag. The pandering for a Canelo or Pacquiao lottery ticket is really starting to become sickening. Bivol, Callum Smith and now Barrera. The irony is that Andrade is the most deserving to fight Canelo, but because of his size and skills, he'd be the last guy Fishnets would consider.

The only reason Canelo holds the WBA Super is because Loeffler has been firm with Oscar and Gomez that Gennady wants to stay at 160, and DAZN has influenced Canelo that they willl provide a substantial package for Canelo to do this fight. So a Unification with GGG’s belt is what will sell.

Why does Canelo need the 160 WBO? Maybe you didn’t see, but BJS dropped out for Canelo at 168 for that WBO. Andrade been saying he’d go to 168 for Andrade. So fighters are going northbound. You think Andrade doesn’t drain to make 160? He’s probably 172lbs at least in the ring

The plastic belt Canelo holds at 168 is laughable, as it was won against a British soda can Callum Smith had knocked out a year earlier. A third GGG fight creates very little buzz among fans. We saw it twice already and saw two Vegas heists. Someone needs to tell DEAD ZONE and John Skipper that GGG is almost 40 and past his Sell By date. Canelo could have really showed us something by staying at light heavy and unifying with Bivol and/or Bivol, but that option was a little too dangerous for his tastes. Expect Canelo to fight a stiff like Anthony Dirrell or David Lemiueux in September. He's not fighting one of the sharks at 168 or light heavy, that's for sure.

how many statements has ginger made? Against boxers on their prime and same weight.

Yea, and he beat everyone of them at a weight way to light for his stature. Not to mention all mouth Hart who he beat one handed! All while his own promoter was trying to sabotage him. I don't think you even watched his fights or can see his skill and potential. This guy hasn't scratched the surface of his ability. Got a taste of it in his only fight at 175 and what did he do? Broke his opponents ribs with one shot. Eats a punch as well as Duran and has a heart bigger than you've ever seen. I don't praise that often but when I do it's for real! I also don't get caught up with paper tigers or puppets when it comes to boxing. Too many stipulating factors that go unseen in this sport. I hope I enlightend you some. If not oh well. Just remember the best I mean best at 168 and 175!! BELIEVE IT

Lol. I said “WBA Super.” You should know that’s 160. I even wrote GGG and unification... get a clue!
