This too, John comes across as a genuine good dude and he's been screwed over more than his share. Can't see he's much hope of a Win but I'll guarantee he'll give 100% and a good account of himself. Fun fight I reckon, as much as it can be with the winner pretty much pre-ordained.

Canelo isnt stopping Ryder I'll tell you that much now. I'd see something like 8-4 Canelo as Ryder is big and Canelo will outbox and probably fight off the ropes especially early and middle rounds to conserve energy for counter shots

Seems a real nice guy, he showed a lot of class after the Smith fight too.

He’d definitely go in there and give it a go, I think he’d try and stand toe to toe Canelo. I could see him going distance and doing a lot better than people think.

Pretty much universally recognised John deserved the nod against Rocky. Look I don't think anyone's thinking this is a mega fight, but given the circumstances and budgets available right now it's a decent enough fight. Definitely could be worse and I almost guarantee John will give a better account of himself than Fielding did.
