Agree, he's not really got what you'd call a natural fan base and for me needs a world class opponent to justify PPV. This kind of story telling just turns fans off, making him even less commercially viable.Could be his downfall for the future. People may want to stay clear.
Whichever way, unwritten rules from the boxer himself shows a lack of class and only strengthens people's disliking of him...
He thinks he's a big pull in the boxing world when he's not, but he's known for his gab and quite ironically. His own crying.Comment

I can't blame Whyte for being angry and frustrated. They're ducking g him, and the WBC has had him mandatory over 1000 days. They let Wilder duck, now they're scheming with this franchise champion bs. He will slaughter Fury, so Fury wont take this fight in a million years.Comment

I agree with this. Whilst Whyte definitely did enough to beat Wach, let's not pretend it wasn't close, I had it 96-94, and again, yes he did enough to narrowly beat Rivas, but he was in a world of trouble at one point, and that was Whyte at his best, wheareas, I accept he wasn't in peak condition physically or mentally against Wach.
Could I see Whyte having the better of it in sparring against an unmotivated Fury having an off day? Yes, I could, but the same goes for Amir Khan against Mayweather in the same scenario, neither would ever win a real boxing match against the other.
I'm sick of all these I'm the sparring Champion of the world stories. Sparring means nothing. It's just preparation for what really matters, fight night.Comment
