Charlo's will can't be broken, but I could see Derevyanchenko outpointing him.

Would actually be nice to see either brother fight a fight they aren't a huge favorite.
They have avoided pretty much anyone with a pulse.
Stop lying! Who has Jermell avoided?

I can agree that Jermall has avoided others like Jacobs and Andrade as much as GGG and Canelo have avoided him, but who defaq did Jermell duck? You just completely made that up.

Jermell is a dog just like Errol Spence. He'll fight anyone.

Also, if Charlo is willing to go up for Canelo, then he should also think about Benavidez and Plant! Those would be good fights also, and easier to make! MAN UP!
              He did call out Bernavidez.

Initially when Benevidez called him out last year he looked like he didn't want to hear none of it. He honestly looked like he wanted to punch the interviewer in the mouth just for mentioning it.

I think I sort of understand. To him it probably looked like Benevidez was basically being brought up to protect Canelo from him and to sabotage him, and maybe he was.

However, I also think that he shouldn't focus on the why's and who is doing what and focus on building his own legacy.

If he were to move up and beat Benevidez convincingly, he'd be an instant legend. If he knocked him out or stopped him, wow, that would take him up to instant ppv status.

If he feels that the Mexicans and the Whites are collaborating against him and his kind, then all he has to do is destroy their plans by winning and becoming thee super star.

Provided that is what is happening of course.

Anyway, he called Benevidez out recently, so let's see what happens.

I hope he at least beats Derevyanchenko first before moving up. That way he can legitimize his title so that he can no longer be called a paper champ, which is an unfair status considering that the former champ blatantly ducked him by vacating the title.

Still, beating someone of Derevyanchenko's quality takes away that argument completely.

                Charlo

Sadly the WBC has made it their priority to protect Canelo by any means necessary why else would they create a bogus franchise champion which means absolutely nothing. The WBC has done more to erode the competition in boxing than any of the promoters could ever do

That's a very good fight. Sergiy arguably beat Golovkin, so it's a fight that people are not sure if Charlo would win.

This is going to be Jermall's toughest test by far at 160 but he can win this fight. People will look at the GGG fight but I also look at the Danny Jacobs fight. Not that Jermall really fights anything like Danny but if he uses his speed and catches Derev off guard with counters he can beat him. He shouldn't try slugging with Derev which is what I think GGG got sorta suckered in to let alone GGG I think being old / borderline done.

Great fight! and a pretty god barometer of where Charlo is currently at, not only that but an opportunity for Charlo to really send a statement to all the fighters around 160-168, if he were to stop Derevyanchenko he would surpass Jacobs and GGG performances, Chenko is a dog so it would not be easy at all.

I got the feeling that right now Canelo and Charlo are negotiating with Derevyanchenko, one offers a major payday the other offers a belt.
