With everything going on and not getting better here in the states, this is smart because it's going to be hard to have any type of high profile fights because of the amount of money and time that goes into it. It's to risky to promote a fight for months and spend a ton of money for it to come collapsing down if someone tests positive for Covid. Unfortunately the sports world is going to take a while for it to get back to normal.

Who else is there that is going to accept a lower payday? Everyone else is pricing themselves out and wants to hit the lottery before beating Canelo, instead of after.
