Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte has been eating a lot of yogurt recently.
It might not be the best idea. Whyte is lactose intolerant but the probiotics have led to a change in his digestive system. Namely, regular and healthy bowel movements.
“I took three s**ts today,” Whyte said in a radio interview with DAZN and SI’s Chris Mannix. “It was a great feeling.”
Those bowel movements have led to a change in the ring. The WBC interim champion was last seen in December. He struggled with Maurisz Wach in a closer than expected decision victory.
Whyte weighed over 270 pounds for the fight and looked sluggish for all 10 rounds. He admits now to Mannix that he ate cheese steaks six times a day leading up to the contest.
“I’m a carnivore who craves cheese,” Whyte said. “It’s why I crave a fight with Tyson Fury. He’s the cheesiest.”
Whyte says his new yogurt regiment, and his frequent bowel movements, have led to him dropping 10 pounds. He expects to be in top shape when he faces former WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin in August.
Whyte expects to win that fight. From there, he hopes to force a shot with WBC and lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. His attention would turn back to Deontay Wilder if Wilder wins the contracted third bout with Fury.
Whyte just isn’t sure the WBC champion or the WBC will live up to the promises usually made to a mandatory challenger.
“They’re all scared of me,” Whyte said. “They’re scared I’m going to s**t all over them, just like my yogurt diarrhea covered toilet.”
Whyte might have a point. He’s expected to finally get a shot at the WBC belt in February 2021. That would be approximately 1,000 days since he was named the mandatory challenger to the belt.

Consider that my application for a job here. I can write tons of nonsense about Dillian Whyte too.
