This is crazy, with mandatories and Wilder/Fury 3...just get together and make a tournament out of it. Fury, Wilder, Whyte & Pedvetkin will be one bracket, and will get the WBC mandatory out of the way. Joshua, Pulev, Usyk, and I think he was fighting Chisora(?) will be the other bracket, and that will get IBF and WBO mandatories out of the way. No rematch clauses, can put it in contract if a favorite loses, then they get a title shot at unified champion. This can be done, I believe its all the same promoters for everyone involved.

pro boxing sucks at tournaments.
Last one I remember was the 2012ish WBA HW tournament. They had like three titles awarded at once so they had a tournament to get to one. I think it got two fights in before it fell to **** because of PED stripping, retirements, and purse negotiations

Who is supposed to be in charge of this tournament and would everyone take orders from them? Boxing tournaments suck and take forever from what I have seen. A short 4 man tourny wrapped up in three fights would be ok but it is not possible in today's boxing which is pretty ***ed up.Comment

Your tourny would probably take a few years to finish. No thanks. What if Chisora beats Usyk? Then you have a guy in the tourny who does not belong in it because both Whyte and Fury have stopped him. Usyk, Povetkin and Pulev have about no chance of winning anyway so why bother with them? I am pretty sure either Fury, Whyte or AJ is the best heavyweight in the world an d the other guys just slow things down. If Fury fights AJ I would consider the winner the true champ with no tourny needed.Comment
