Most likely Spinks wins by decision, if Wilder could land he has a punchers chance.
People are easy to dismiss Spinks because of the Tyson fight, but he was 33-0 going into that fight, won a gold medal and was never knocked down till he faced a prime Tyson at the top of his game (absolute peak).
Some people don't know that Spinks promoter admitted to trying to get in Tyson's head before the bout and made Mike re wrap his right hand, which angered Mike and he punched a hole in the wall almost KO'ing Spinks in the locker room. Spinks was scared of Tyson after that and took a long time to come out to the ring.
Wilder doesn't have that kind of affect, Stiverne was able to go 12 rounds with him (sick supposedly too), so I would bet a HOF fighter like Spinks could more than likely last 12 rounds.

It again takes a special kind of ****** to pick Wilder here if you really followed boxing more than 5 years and took the time to watch past fights so you have a real perception of how Spinks broke down guys and can count how many rounds Wilder won in the past 5 years.

          Get knocked the fxck out.

Spinks is a lot better than people remember and his victories against Holmes & Cooney are underrated, but people forget what makes Wilder go. It's not just his insane power, it's also his athleticism for a guy that big. He's a boxer in an NBA Player's body. Cooney & Holmes weren't athletic enough to get to Spinks. Wilder knock his head off after getting schooled for like 6 or 7 rounds.
