Fair enough, man, you entitled to your opinion. Way I see it Postol's a very solid veteran who's only lost to a coupla of the best and is still absolutely worthy of his top 5 slot. He's also better and more proven than anyone Carlos has faced, for my money, including Mo and Zapeda, and Jose pushed Carlos to the limit... why would you think Victor won't?

Look, man, make no mistake here, Ramirez is my dude - love his commitment to his community and heritage - that's the kinda thing that really gets me behind a fighter, but whilst I'm seeing a tough man with a real warrior spirit I ain't seeing an elite boxer. I think he'll win but I think he's gonna have his work cut out here.

Oh, and FWIW the scores in the Taylor fight are widely regarded as being pretty horrible - and that from a fan of Taylor (although his antics since have soured me on him a little). Yes, Josh deserved the nod, but only by a whisker, mainly just pulling away with the KD and the last coupla rounds - and I expect Victor to make it just as hard for Ramirez as he did for Taylor... although if Jose is capable of stopping him or beating him wide it would be an impressive statement.

Postol is not a puncher he doesn't have the same pop as someone like Hooker or Zepeda and yeah he had one solid win against Lucas Matthysse who basically quit in that fight but other than that I don't have him with any other victories I thought he lost to Lundy as well and I never saw the full fight but that Uzbek guy dropped him hard too and was a very close fight from what I have read.

I just can't see him causing much of a problem for Ramirez at this point in time maybe if this was the same Postol who had just beat Lucas but it's years later and he hasn't shown much since. He lost to Josh Taylor yeah like I said he had some moments but even without the wide cards Taylor would have still won a UD to me maybe I need to go watch the fight again but when I saw it live that is how I felt.

I admit I thought the Zepeda fight could have gone either way and Jose looked bad there but could have just been an off night he looked good against Hooker so we will see.
