Check the quote below. See how GGG can never do no wrong but other fighters are held to a higher standard? Funny bidness mayne!

Remember when Abel told industry in 2014 that when Gennadiy “gets popular he going to have to move up, and it may be even at 175lbs!” Why would a trainer say 175 if GGG diehards believe GGG doesn’t hardcore drain for 160?

Everyone knows I’ve been wanting the Beterbiev fight for a hot minute!! It’s what Canelo needs on his resume should he get a win, but remember folks...he doesn’t have to!!

Guys like Canelo and Charlo simply can't make weight anymore. Others move up to avoid someone in their own division. Others move up for big money fights.

And focus on necessity, hence “having to..”

Abel: “WHEN Gennadiy gets POPULAR, he’s going TO HAVE TO move up. It may be even at 175lbs.”

Notice how Abel was acknowledging that they been milking 160? And that quote was from 2014. If it was simply impossible for Gennadiy to move up, why would his trainer add 15lbs northbound?

Casual fans think that boxers,P4P, like Usyk or Loma don’t know how to add muscle mass and transition in weight? Why are GGG fans so naive to have believed that Gennadiy is a “small middleweight.” Gennadiy already suffers making 160 remember him sweating and looking gaunt at pressers trying to maintain for the scale?

The older you get the harder it is to make weight and the more ideal reason to move up just like many greats. Hagler is smaller than GGG too. He had more of a reason to stay at 160. BHop did it, and yet look at his age upon doing it. I’d say BHOp
has more “ATG” recognition than GGG. Gramps flooring Shumenov or Tarver or even daring unification with the Krusher. Bhop all day err day! GBP family mayne!

He didn't win Fotd so he can take it easy a bit. Fight until 2030 he will have time to get some wins under belt.

I'm holding him to the sames standards as Hagler, Monzon and other fighters that stayed put. Canelo most likely will not fight Beterbiev He's most likely going to move down to 168.

You are lying again as usual mayne in your multiple daily love Canelo hate GGG thread. You DON'T want Canelo to fight Beterbiev because you don't want your beloved Canelo to take a beating from Beterbiev. You know Canelo will not fight Beterbiev so you are safe to say it is the fight you want. If canelo was going to fight Beterbiev he would have fought him instead of Kovalev and he would not have vacated his 175 pound WBO world title. Canelo is the cash cow and can have any fight he wants. He takes the fights he is confident of winning and not the fights he thinks he might lose so we will probably never see Canelo fight Beterbiev or Bivol.

I could see Canelo fighting Bivol but it would be at 168 with a rehydration clause to give him the upper hand.

Beterbiev would win easy, he would KO him. Beterbiev has equal power in both hands, can box and his chin is great.
Wrong fight for Canelo, the same guy that ducked GGG for years staying at 155 rather than fight him.
No small fighter will beat him.
