Serrano, if smart, could find a really good legal team against Hearn. What helps her situation is Covid-19. At such a global magnitude level, I don’t see how a binding Matchroom contract could justify any situation given the pandemic. Surely a judge would rule in favor of Serrano. Basically Hearn blocked Serrano’s fame appearance for a reality show which would help build Serrano’s appearance and fans to promote the fight as well as financial support to Serrano by Telemundo during a crisis.

Hearn should’ve just postponed the fight for such a huge event needed to be done right. He basically got her booted off television. I could see why Serrano is upset. Let the girl absorb some limelight

A posh spoiled brat of a man who’s willing to lie in your face and with clear evidence against him just to get his way!

Serrano deserves out of everyone not to get a pay cut, she signed to DAZN specifically to fight Taylor and never got the fight for some reasons even though she had a 3 fight deal!

She was willing to go to the U.K. and concede most of the concessions to Taylor but this is too much!

I don’t see why they can’t just put the fight in Vegas or fûçk it in Nicaragua with limited fans but almost no fighters manager would let their fighter go to their opponents promoter literal backyard!

Taylor’s team should’ve been more confident that Katie can compete with Serrano on even terms and these shenanigans would’ve been avoided but instead they picked two fighters nobody gave two shîts about and should’ve lost to one of them an got rocked by the other one!

Hearns being exposed as a liar and Team Taylor being exposed for trying to get any and all advantages for Katie cuz they know Serrano isn’t child’s play!

Nobody wants to fight in Eddys tater patch, not with his commissions running the show. UKAD and the BBBofBS, are his boys. They hold back room meetings, hide results, then pronounce themselves innocent. Even if it's legal, it's shady AF. It's like walking into a spider web, with more than one spider.

I guess the signed contract doesn't stipulate the location of the fight, neither date. If I understand correctly, Hearn (only) verbally promised her higher purse than what was signed in case if the fight takes place in the UK.

Hearn probably had this planned, knowing that his low ball offer to Serrano would not only be rejected but he would deny he ever suggested a reduced purse, thus causing too much conflict to make the fight happen. I'm sure Eddie is scared that Serrano would mop the floor with his female cash cow and so he concocted this scam to shut down the matchup.
On another note, Hearn critcized the matchups on the Top Rank cards thus far yet nothing announced for his "Fight Camp" cards is impressive or amount to anything more than domestic, British level matchups, save Whyte vs. Povetkin.
Big deal Eddie. He's looking like a typical dishonest carnival barker type promoter with nothing of substance to match his proclaimations about the cracking fight cards he's putting on. At least Arum had a world title fight and competitive, international matchups that ended in multiple upsets!

I have nothing against Serrano but the longer she continues to hide behind DiBella's excuses the more I lose respect for her. The most important thing to remember is the sport and the history that both fighters can be apart of. If Serrano thinks she can handle the Irish warrior then stop letting the idiot DiBella deface her and agree to winner take all! Money issue solved. Now go fight anywhere you like. Serrano isn't a coward , This whole affair is just a mess and if they dig in the only winners will be the lawyers , believe me the stress is really not worth it . So glad I'm out of boxing now ..
