Like i have said before Serrano didn't want this fight, but she has NO choice as she has a binding contract. No one wants a pay cut, so you have to wait it out, but you cannot then complain about the dates when you don't want to take a pay cut. She thought she could do the same thing that Wilder did, try and use Taylor's name to propel hers. She would be making 400K against Taylor, but she would be taxes a lot, on Telemundo (They have dropped her now after Hearn filed a complaint against them) she was meant to earn 200K.

She only got the 4-fights contract due to Taylor, it was Taylor's promoter who gave her that contract with Taylor's name at the end of the deal. So her moaning and beetching is exactly like what Wilder did with Joshua. But this time around Hearn has a signed contract with her, so she cannot run away from it. The pandemic affected everyone, Taylor even took a pay cut so that Serrano doesn't have to.

Obviously Barry and Eddie Hearn didn’t want the wilder fight. Hearn already agreed to a 50/50 split with fury without any other details. But when AJ asked for $50M and then received an offer with $50M and a 50/50 split all Finkel said was accept the money offer your fight asked for. Hearn And his fans complain that he didn’t have no details and it was a blind contract although nobody asked AJ to sign a contract. Bunch of hypocrites!!!!

So, the story so far:

Hearn puts out feelers - or possibly something in slightly stronger terms - to see whether they'll accept a pay cut.

Serrano goes on social media claiming that she was offered a reduced purse that was out of proportion with the reduction offered to Taylor.

Lou says no actual $$$ figures were offered, just a discussion of principle.

Taylor says let's get it on, financial barriers removed.

Hearn says no $$$ reduction offered merely discussion of prinicple. Offer rebuffed. Serrano wil get original purse, Taylor reduced.


Seems to me the most likely source of confusion here is the communication between DiBella and Serrano or her team. What I'm really seeing though is a kinda storm in a teacup. If Hearn has accepted that Amada will get the full original offered purse I can't really see the issue. Sounding out whether she'd take a reduced purse is hardly a crime in itself, though from the tone of Serrano's response (and that of her management) I'm guessing Hearn might have come on considerably more strongly than he's implying here, possibly insisting rather than merely requesting that Amanda take a reduced purse... dunno.

Hopefully they can resolve this ish.

i mean hearn is a sleasebag no doubt but this is just normal stuff, now it looks like taylor is taking a paycut to get the fight done and serrano doesnt have to, this serrano one just seems impossible, if u dont want the fight then just say so and wait for the venue and time u want and money post covid, not hard

u will be walking into a ring like all others in a venue with no fans and a sanctioned fight, u have to travel yes but thats life and boxing, someone has to and u dont have hte belts serrano, not hard
