I do think both Golovkin and Canelo are a little overrated. Canelo has too many asterisks next to his best wins and to me it looks like his skillset, while impressive, gets over-exaggerated to match his earning power. It's clear now that Golovkin isn't as invincible as he was thought to be not that long ago. I thought he deserved to win both times against Canelo but he didn't dominate in either of those and his performance against Deryvyanchenko was very underwhelming - honestly that fight was more damaging to his image than either Canelo fight, imo.

I think Mikey Garcia is probably the most overrated. Ring Magazine has him in the top 10 welterweights and that's off the back of a humiliating beating from Spence and one decent-ish win over Jessie Vargas, who's little better than a gatekeeper type fighter. If he'd stayed at the lower weights and maybe fought Lomachenko things might have been different but I think the direction he's taken in his career was a huge mistake.

I did rewatch GGG vs Postol for the first time since live. Was surprised that GGG really had all the flaws back then that he’s accused of now. Blocked a lot of punches with his face, missed a lot. Not so fleet of foot as I remembered. He did do more body work. But I was kinda surprised. Course it’s all different looking back with our rose coloured glasses or jaundiced eyes. Still Nelo at 30 is way more talented than GGG ever was. Course GGG does have a granite chin.
            Golovkin vs Postol?

              I mentioned Cotto.
Miguel was a 4x loser and a victim of 2 vicous beatdowns before he fought the diva.
You're right. Alvarez won the vacant WBC title.
I was writing about weak champs he fought not weak contenders.
BTW you forgot to mention his opponent, it was MATTHEW HATTON! (And the diva even had a rehydration clause for the fight) WTF???
No lies just da truth, Ruth!

                      Leo Santa Cruz.

He’s a four weight champion yet he’s fought almost no one of significance.

His only fights against world class competition were all razor close, and let’s be honest, Frampton and Mares aren’t exactly the best of the best. Frampton even split the series with LSC and LSC refuses to give him a third fight.

He has one of the most fraudulent resumes I’ve ever seen in boxing.
