Yeah when Winky vacated the titles, it totally splintered. As much as I hate to admit it, I guess TECHNICALLY Spinks would be the man. But I don't really believe that. Rivera is a more deserving champion, but he doesn't have the linear title.

What exactly is the problem with fighting for the linear title? I don't think Baldomir is a better fighter than Margarito but he has the title. Don't you think its a bit harsh to claim there is only 1 fight worth making. Plus as a boxing fan I really don't care how much money Floyd makes... its not like either of us will ever see a dime of the money. So this fight makes sense and therefore is alright to me.

We need to get over the PBF-Margo fight, for whatever reason it is, the fight's not gonna happen. Margo needs to fight any other WW champ or move up to 154 and take on Rivera.

when all the smoke is cleared, for this little thing, it'll be seen as the right move for Floyd to fight Baldomir as opposed to Spinks in the long run

indeed, pbf shouldn't move up any higher, i don't think he has the power to hurt anybody at 154. floyd has a good opportunity to be undisputed at 147, if he can outwork Baldi. no matter what happens, i respect Baldi, he's consistent, the guy hasn't lost a fight since 1998
