The first one was quite annoying as Roy was seen as just another champ. He was way more than that. At his best he was unbeatable and one of the greatest to ever do it.

Nobody really cared about Roy much over here, in terms of going beyond boxing. Chris Eubank for instance transcended boxing to the masses, the nation stopped for 15 or 20 of his fights. I mean literally the nation - grans, mums, aunts, toddlers
