Whyte getting old wrinkly promoters ball bags slapping him from all angles at the moment.

No one is showing him any respect, he need to do something to insert himself as he’s getting treated like the prison biatch.

      This makes no sense.

Whyte (ranked no.5) has to fight Joyce or Dubois (neither of whom are in the top 10) to prove he's ready

Shouldn't Joyce or Dubois fight someone half-decent to prove they are ready???

lol Dubois couldn't stop Nathan Gorman in a round. Dubois has beaten nobody. He's a guy to watch for the future but we need to see him fight someone who fights back first. Joyce is the first fight where that happens

And what exactly does shunning those other avenues have to do with the WBC's decision to screw Whyte over, especially when that decision to focus on the WBC route has put more money in their pockets via sanctioning fees?

Putting yourself in Whyte's position, why shouldn't he have pursued the mandatory shot with Wilder (in what probably looked to be a more winnable fight in Whyte's eyes), to then get more leverage in future negotiations with AJ? Especially when you consider he was offered less for that AJ fight he turned down as a percentage of what he was already earning, compared to Miller, Ruiz, Ortiz etc.? The fact that Hearn came out with a signed Jarrell Miller fight so soon after this so-called offer tells me the negotiations with Whyte probably weren't sincere anyway, similar to the Canelo-Smith talks.

Your dislike for Whyte is clouding your common sense, as is the case with many others on here. Frankly, your frustration should be solely directed to the WBC, who have brought this whole situation on themselves, and nobody else.

            Prove what?

Not a mandatory or a draw, no money or belt? Prove what? Who are Joyce and Dubois?

              News flash...NOBODY...cares Frank.

Dubois-Joyce winner = No belt or money and neither is a draw or mandatory....what's the point?

Warren needs to start actually promoting and stop sending his fighters to real promoters.

I've already stated many times the WBC have to be accountable for what they are doing.. they have royally screwed him.

However Whyte is also accountable for what he wants to do and get out of boxing. He's also accountable for the path he chooses to take..

He's been offered multiple routes and chances to a title shot. Yes it's not for the WBC belt which he thinks is the easiest to win and why he's waiting around for that but he's had options to which he's turned down.. once that happens you can't cry I'm afraid..

He can take the fights and still show his disappointment at the WBC, still take legal action..

For him to speak of money when he's a challenger, never won anything shows what motivations he has as a boxer and it's clearly not wanting to be a world champion boxer.....
