No I caught the point your not catching mine. Its possible Boots hasn't had his shot yet. Matter of fact it's been said a whole bunch of times nobody wants to risk fighting the guy cause believe or not the eye test does count if you know what your looking for. Well it counts for something. High risk low reward with that guy and I feel he can beat Thurman because I dont think Thurman has his head in the game anymore. Plain and simple!

And he really probably shouldve lost that Porter fight.

And let's not forget he almost got KTFO by journeyman Luis Collazo and Josesito Lopez

Thurman was a decent fighter but was probably advertised better than he ever actually was

Collazo is a former champion so I don't see how he could be considered a journeyman he beat Andre Berto too just got jobbed on the cards so should be a 2 time champion he was old when he fought Thurman but he is still a crafty veteran.

I get your point though at this point Thurman is done he was talking for a long time had 2 close fights with Porter and Garcia and hasn't done anything since it seems his fight with Garcia ruined his body somehow and he just has never been able to get back to form.

I could see Thurman vs Granados for his return fight but the way he's talking these days it might be better to just call it a day he doesn't have that hunger anymore.

Yeah, it's a shame. There's a lot of hate here, but it's clearly a guy that has suffered what might be career ending/redefining injuries.

It is what it is. Some people are built hardier than others. I hope he gets back to form now after all those surgeries, but if he's injured again after this get back fight I won't hold my breath to see a prime Thurman ever again.

Nah, it was a good close fight, but it was a clear Thurman win.

Yet Collazo was stopped and Josesito was dropped early by an out of shape coming back Thurman who is obviously not at his 100%.

Nah, he was really good. Time will tell if his body can get back into fighting condition. It'd be a shame if he was just a flash in the pan, but he was definitely one of if not the best current welterweight.

****ing shame what's going on at WW actually. Thurman always injured, Spence with a horrible car wreck, Crawford with Arum and not getting good fights...

Words straight out of Arum's mouth.

But no one wants Crawford's title huh? That's your spin and you gonna stick to it right?

Can't make this shieet up! SMH!

If he stays with whoever his promoters are or if his promoters don't start working with PBC, he ain't getting jack!

He'll just be a comments section legend who never fought anyone.

Keith def has a future in boxing commentary. I don't know what they make, but im sure it's a comfortable living so he's got no worries there.
He hasnt gone downhill because of his wife...he only met her because he was recovering from his injury. It's the injury that done him. Angel Garcia was right. Danny done him in long term.

                    LMAO

What a small crappy career, considering everything.

Another boxer, who takes crappy easy fights one after another.

Heaven forbid you fight Crawford or Spence. You know the fight boxing fans have been waiting for, for 6 years. Just take one of them. One fight. Thatsa all. But go ahead and fight some can, then a rematch of a fight no one is asking for.

                    Fantastic.
