If so, why? I think Pacquiao has a chance to make it competitive. Bud does get hit a lot.

Buds a great fighter but people on here act like he’s Floyd. Bud can be hit. Also from a physical standpoint it’s closer to an even match. Floyd was a lot bigger than Manny. You also have to give Manny the edge in hand speed. So Manny winning the fight isn’t out of the question.

Manny has the ability to be competitive with anyone @ 147 and below still. These are the guys that would be favoured to beat him RIGHT NOW:

There are three people @ 147 and below that can beat Manny in 2020 IMO..... nine times out of ten in 2020.....He beats everyone else. In no particular order....the guys that beat him RIGHT NOW are:

        1) Bud - because he is in his prime, and just too skilled and athletic. I think he is comfortable at 147 lbs too. Manny is still a small welterweight.

        2) Spence - Like Bud, he is also in his prime. Spence is a huge Welterweight. Also, like Bud - he is a gifted athlete. Unless, his accident took a lot out of him. Let's face it - it took SOMETHING out of him..how could it not?. How much though? He needs a fight that is highly competitive yet winnable first..If he goes straight in against Manny, now though....after everything he has been through? That shifts the odds in the other direction....

        2) Porter - Horrible stylistic match up for Manny. Can't see him beating Porter at this point in his career. Porter would lean on him and use his size to his advantage. Porter is a skilled fighter, and a hell of an athlete. Why would Manny want to deal with that right now?

I have thoughts about Manny vs Mikey Garcia (love that fight), and a rematch with Keith Thurman.

Reply if you've read this post, and if I am not annoying you. I'm new here. I'm just a huge fan of combat sports, and most people, are not into that where I live.

Crawford could slip on a wet canvas and pull something. TKO. It has happened before somewhere, some place.

Why not? Pac is a special kind of fighter and he has proved he can fight at a high level even at 40+. Bud has never fought anyone as good as this version of Pac. I do favor Bud but you can never count out someone like Pac, that's insane.

Pac is special. Can't write him off. He's had a few ups and downs and people write him off but he comebacks with more vigour, still resembles a youngish fighter.
past greats like dlh and srl were saying they could see the openings but couldn't pull the trigger anymore, they were saying punches hurt more, they were getting hit more with punches in prime they wouldn't be hit with?
Pac seems to have coped remarkably well. Whatever he's doing he's doing something right

Gotta favor Crawford given PAC’s age but not counting Pac out. His style is a handful for anyone fighting him for the first time. And it’s boxing anything can happen.
