World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman clarified that the winner of the third fight between WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and challenger Deontay Wilder, will be required to make the mandatory defense against Dillian Whyte. Whyte recently took legal action against the sanctioning body, to prevent them from delaying his mandatory shot - which is due by the end of February 2021.

A.J has two mandatory fights anyway ,there was no Fury vs Wilder winner next . The WBC made it clear last year Whyte gets a title shot in February 2021 which is pushed back now with the cancelled events . I’m not sure what Whytes legal action is about since he cannot over turn a contracted fight between Fury and Wilder so he’s doing nothing about nothing .
