Fair point about there being viewers watching ESPN Deportes but makes up 50/60% of the viewers that regular ESPN does? Lay off the crack pipe Bob lol.

And I don't know why he mentioned bars and restaurants right now. Bad argument there.

It's okay, the viewers shouldn't matter all that much right now. Numbers aren't good but who cares, not like the product is supposed to be good right now either. Bob has already come out and said he wants to save his bigger fighters and better fighters for later on with fans in attendance.

Boxing can't put on lesser names and lesser fights and expect good ratings like say the UFC. The UFC is built on their brand so they can put anyone in the main event and they will do three times the ratings boxing does.

Everybody's numbers are going to be bad right now unless it's big names facing each other

I mean aside from the Navarette fight which was lead in by a UFC event they have all been during the week so 400k is not a bad number for lower tier fights. Everyone on here was crying for so long about the COVID and how boxing needs to come back the UFC is doing it why can't boxing lol then Arum brings it back and people just want to complain even more what else are you all doing on a Tuesday that it bothers you so much that these fights are showing. These have just been showcase fights for upcoming talent and possible future champions.

People keep comparing this to the UFC but have to understand UFC starts at like 4 pm central time and they show a bunch of prelims as well half of which suck. So yeah a 6 hour broadcast should have some good fights I'd hope but people are making it seem like all these cards have been extremely stacked when just like the boxing cards they have a few fights that drag it used to happen before COVID too not anything new.

Not buying it Bob. These numbers are on par with the numbers prior to the quarantine. The main reason is, he has chosen to put Loma and Crawford on ESPN Plus. In fact, the numbers should be higher since everyone is at home (for the most part). For example, The Last Dance got the highest ratings for ESPN when it came on. That's because people wanted to see it. People don't want to see what TR is putting on.
